We will remember the last edition of Vinitaly as one characterized by professionalism and concreteness.
The days of the most important wine fair were marked by a great participation of the public, a diverse audience that celebrated the vitality of the Italian wine sector.
On April 14th, the opening day of Vinitaly at Veronafiere, we kicked off our tastings with the “Special Vintage” event, featuring Alessia Bevilacqua and sommelier Nando Papa, who tasted our vintage wines alongside enthusiasts and experts.
It was a great confirmation to experience the freshness and complexity of vintages that took us back in time. The Blanc sparkling wines from the 2008 harvest and the Rosé from the 2009 harvest revealed a talent in bubbles from Mount Etna: balance and persistence, as well as flavor and sapidity, the Etna sparkling wines have a characterful drinking experience that lasts long.
Among the still wines, we uncorked the Ciuri from the 2013 vintage and the Cirneco in a mini vertical tasting of 2008 and 2009, a production that splendidly showcased the longevity of wines from Europe’s tallest volcano.
