The winery, a delightful paradise of vineyards, was established thanks to the rigorous attention paid to the revival of the environment, the restoration of the rural terraces, and above all its ancient palmento. The nerve centre of Terrazze dell’Etna and testimony to the history of the place. Today it can be visited on an organised tour, left intact as it was.

Beauty is everywhere, in the interior structure with the ancient palmento and outdoors in the lush vineyards. The palmento is a bit of a synthesis of what we can call the place of the soul for Sicilians. It tells of man’s deep relationship with the land he loves, where the magical art of ‘making wine’ takes place. Our palmento has been revived by a careful restoration work carried out by our family to give a new life to this place.

Yes, a different life, since today we no longer process wine inside, but rather it has become a place where we can host your events and show you the ancient art of making wine. The objects have remained in place to tell the story of every nook and recall its ancient beauty.
Discovering the history of the place
The Palmento is a focal point of our history. We begin your visit with a stroll through the centuries-old vineyards of the estate, surrounded by the woodland of the UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site of Etna.
You will then visit the ancient palmento, a system of tanks used in the past to produce wine, where you will learn what techniques were traditionally used in the Etna area.
